Our local town is Castel Frentano which is situated on a hill. This little town is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards. It also plays host to an excellent market which runs every Tuesday. The ancient town of Lanciano is just 10 minutes away and is rich with art and history, and many wonderful restaurants. You can reach the unspoilt Adriatic Coast within 15 minutes and enjoy the wonderful sandy beaches and coves at San Vito, Fossacessa and Casal Bordino.

Lago Di Casoli and its hilltop town Casoli are just a short drive away, as are Lago di Bomba and the town of Bomba. Guardiagrele has an abundance of copper and wrought iron craft.

The local beaches are safe, clean, sandy and are just a 20 minute drive away. The outskirts of Rome can be reached by car in approx. 1 1/2 hours and the Ski resorts at Roccarasso are 45 minutes away.

Pictured above is a beautiful view of Lago Di Casoli which is situated a few miles away from Casa Perea. During the summer months, the lake is warm enough to enjoy a swim.
